Stress & Health Disorders

Stress will always be in our lives in some way or another. Some of us will deal with stress much better than other. But nevertheless l would assume that most people, if not all, could do without this emotion or mental and physical disorder. Obviously this is more likely to be an impossibility, yet there are proven methods of copying with and containing those stressful moments in our life to a minimum, and training ourselves to respond to and not have a reaction to a given situation. Some of the more noticeable pressures that influence stress, which l have experienced through my life, and there are many, are divorce, bereavement, loss of job or income, sickness in the family such as cancer are just a few that have been factors of provoking my stress. Certainly there are various levels of stress which can be damaging and disruptive to our lives. I would suspect that there are many people who have experienced what l call severely high stress related problems or events, that have caused serious physical and mental illness even to the extent of death.

As l have mentioned some of us can deal with it better than others having the ability to shield off the emotional penetration of stress, and l suspect that most of these types of people would fall into a category of very healthy and physically fit enabling them to cope far better than someone who was unhealthy and unfit, maybe even depressed. So is there a clue here to one way of dealing with the effects of stress and what it can do to us? In my opinion, yes, it just seems to make sense to me, but l am not a specialist in this field so l may be right of base, l will let you ponder on that thought. One form of stress that l witnessed when l was younger, my mother knew this married couple who were like grandmother and grandfather to me. They were what you call the perfect couple.

They were so close that they were as one in all things they did, they had been married for more than fifty years, so you get the idea. then as time steals your strength and aging occurs, the inevitable happens and one of them passed away. The remaining partner suffered extreme severe stress related problems and obviously destroyed there will to survive, sadly this was the case, thus after around two weeks they also passed away. The point is there are so many disguises of stress that its hard to comprehend. I am sorry that l just do not have any remedies for this subject, but in our modern world we do have so much information we can gather from so many sources to help minimize, control and cope with the the effects of stress in our lives.
